Under the leitmotif ‘Be a step ahead, boost your productivity, be inspired‘ the DevOps Conference will take place in Munich this winter, aiming not only to bring Devs and Ops together, but furthermore to integrate business and IT across teams and systems. Topics such as agile processes, microservices, continuous delivery, serverless and cloud technology are essential to the current high performance IT transformation and the reason why the DevOpsCon is always a good place for learning and connecting.

The main conference takes place December 3⁠–⁠4 and offers a wide range of innovative talks in different tracks:

In the ‘Business & Company Culture’ track, DevOps practitioners share their success stories and provide tips on how to kick-start your DevOps adoption. So will Artur Margonari in his talk ‘Agile is tasty. Eat your own dog food’, by explaining what it took them to work according to the agile values and principles while it can sometimes be very challenging. Artur will share their 4 years journey with all its failures & successes, and the benefits and challenges that are still lying ahead of them.

The ‘Continuous Delivery & Automation’ track offers valuable practical knowledge on how to automate the software delivery and boost productivity. Among numerous interesting talks, in his session ‘Continuous Delivery like you know no fear‘  Christian Uhl will highlight why you shouldn’t be afraid to push the boundaries of what Continuous Delivery can be by leveraging Gitlab and Kubernetes. At Matmatch every Branch gets deployed into its own environment – and the product manager or the stakeholder can release every feature directly to production with the click of a button.

DevOpsCon’s ‘Kubernetes Ecosystem’ track provides use cases and best practices for working with the likes of Docker, Kubernetes & Co. The many sessions will get you a deep understanding, for example Dr Roland Huß will talk about ‘Kubernetes Operators and how to implement them the Hard Way’ and Ellen Körbes will analyze ‘The State of Kubernetes Development Tooling’.

But of course, this is just a little piece of the huge program. The DevOpsCon will give interested parties the possibility to meet well-known experts in innovative infrastructure and modern lean business culture. Insightful keynotes addressing actual trends and best practices, the expo reception with top IT companies and a fantastic program are waiting for a curious audience.
