DevOps In a Nutshell

Berlin, June 19, 2019 – The DevOps Conference took place in Berlin in between June 11 and 14. This year, DevOps Conference was all about bringing people from different fields together for faster, more efficient high-performance information technology.

From Business & Company Culture to Logging, Monitoring & Diagnostics, participants were able to learn more about DevOps from hand picked experts. The conference was also providing great networking opportunities for developers and operations from IT industry together with a nice atmosphere where they could also discuss the latest trends.

The four-day conference opened its doors on June 11 with five workshops from the long anticipated Transformation Day to Istio Workshops with professionals like Otomato Software’s Anton Weiss or Kamesh Sampath from Red Hat. The main conference debuted on June 12, where over 60 speakers shared their knowledge among nine different tracks: Business & Company Culture, Cloud Platforms & Serverless, Docker & Kubernetes, Continuous Delivery, Security, Microservices, Logging, Monitoring and Diagnostics, Slidesless and Organizational Change. The expo took place on June 12 to 13, where innovative companies presented their services and technologies to a very engaged and curious audience. On the first expo day in the evening people enjoyed the “Casino Night” where attendees and speakers had the opportunity to chat, play poker or roulette and establish new business contacts with refreshing beverages. The last day of the conference (June 14) offered four workshops which were sold out quickly like the first workshop day. Participants got the chance to gain insight on Christian Schneider’s speciality: “Pentesting and how to master your offensive Security Toolstack” or get to know how to advanced problem solving works in the DevOps world with Jabe BloomMac BurgaurMarkus Andrezak and J. Paul Reed.

The next DevOps Conference will take place from December 02 to 05, 2019 at Hilton Hotel Munich Park in Bavaria. Those who are interested can already buy tickets and benefit from early bird prices.

Until August 15, buyers of 3-Day Ticket will receive the Transformation Day for free as well as a Raspberry Pi or Nintendo Classic. On top of that they will be able to save up to 870€ in total.
